SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): According to latest statistics published by the World Steel Association, the world crude steel output by 65 countries reporting to the Association totaled 1,636.960 Million tonnes during the entire year 2014. These 65 countries accounted for approximately 98% of the total world crude steel production in 2013.
