PARIS (Scrap Monster): As per the latest statistics provided by the French Steel Federation (FFA), the country’s scrap prices increased slightly during the month of June this year. This is in comparison with the scrap prices during the month before.
The price of busheling scrap increased by €3 per ton to touch €240 per ton.
Shredded scrap prices held steady at €244 per ton during this period when compared with May ‘15.
Also, prices of H2 scrap too remained unchanged from the previous month at €217 per ton.
Meantime, the price of H1 scrap witnessed significant rise of €12 per ton from May ’15 levels to touch €236 per ton.
