ERPC calls entries for 2015 European Paper Recycling Awards

BRUSSELS (Scrap Monster): The European Recovered Paper Council (ERPC) has invited entries from candidates for the 2015 European Paper Recycling Awards.

The award recognizes innovative projects that demonstrate enhanced use of paper recycling.

Entry is open to all entities based in Europe, including schools and universities, NGOs, national and regional authorities, companies and associations. Entries must reach before midday Brussels time on Friday 26 June, 2015.

Eligible projects, initiatives or campaigns will be evaluated based on the following criteria:-Relevance and originality, Achievements, Possibility to reproduce the project and Cost effectiveness.

Awards will be presented in two categories-a) Information & Education and b) Technology Improvement & R&D.

An independent panel of experts will judge the entries in each category. The panel includes

representatives from the European Parliament, as well as related industry sectors and NGOs.

The winners of the contest will be announced at a ceremony that will take place at the European Parliament on October 14^th.
