Chinese scrap market update: Prices continue to rally on Index
The Chinese scrap prices saw good recovery on Friday, April 11th
BEIJING (Scrap Monster) : The Chinese scrap prices saw good recovery on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Friday, April 11th. Most of them witnessed modest gains over the previous day.
#1 HMS prices went higher by CNY 10 per MT from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire remained unchanged over the previous day. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too witnessed no price change.
The prices of 201 Stainless Steel edged higher by CNY 50 per MT. 304 Stainless Steel prices increased by CNY 100 per MT. Also, 316 Stainless Steel prices increased by CNY 100 per MT to reach CNY 13,500 per MT. Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices remained flat over the day.
Cast Iron Scrap prices saw an up move of CNY 10 per MT as on 11th April.
Nickel scrap prices advanced by CNY 2000 per MT, to touch CNY 117,800 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel price went higher by CNY 100 per MT.
Shred Zinc and Soft Lead prices appreciated by CNY 50 per MT each.
