BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Wednesday, August 27th.
#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire declined by CNY 250 per MT over the previous day. The prices of #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too fell by CNY 250 per MT each.
201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The price of 304 Stainless Steel remained unchanged at CNY 10,550 per MT. 316 Stainless Steel prices too remained flat at CNY 14,300 per MT.
Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices declined by CNY 50 per MT as on 27th August, 2014.
Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price.
Nickel scrap prices scaled higher by CNY 200 per MT. Nickel scrap traded at CNY 130,300 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel prices witnessed no change in prices.
Shred Zinc prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT, whereas Soft Lead prices increased by CNY 50 per MT.
