BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Tuesday, September 16th.
#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire increased by CNY 300 per MT over the day. The prices of #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too witnessed a rise of CNY 300 per MT.
201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel declined by CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 10,550 per MT. 316 Stainless Steel prices too saw a cut of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices were up by CNY 100 per MT, whereas Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 16th September, 2014.
Nickel scrap prices declined sharply by CNY 1800 per MT. Nickel scrap traded at CNY 126,900 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel prices fell by CNY 50 per MT.
Shred Zinc prices increased by CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 12,300 per MT.
Soft Lead prices remained flat over the day.
