Scrap It, Inc. was originally established on July 19, 1957, by Frank Minichiello Sr. and his brothers Carmen and Joe. The brothers then joined forces with Mickey, Johnny, Louie, and Tony Minichiello to grow and establish a scrap metal recycling presence in the Boston area. Scrap It, Inc. expanded from our original location on 2nd Street in Chelsea, Massachusetts, and now operates out of three metal recycling facilities in Everett, MA; Worcester, MA; and Keene, NH.

We are proud to remain a family-owned business and are currently owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Frank Minichiello Jr. and Tanya Minichiello. Our corporate office is centrally located in Lowell, MA.
