Company Profile

Rochester Aluminum Smelting Canada Limited is a privately owned company with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Rochester operates two plants, located in Concord (Toronto), Ontario, Canada and Rochester, New York.  The company was founded in 1987 at its Rochester, NY location. The Canadian operation, now also its administrative headquarters, was opened in 1994.We have over 75 dedicated employees that have a quality driven attitude.

Rochester now has a total of 8 furnaces and over 300,000 square feet of manufacturing space between the two facilities. The company completed construction of a state of the art melting and holding furnace at the Concord facility in early 2002. The new furnace is dedicated to production of primary aluminum grades up to 99.9% purity. Products include aluminum shot, granules, cones, stars, pyramids, rings and 5-pound notchbar. These products are used in the manufacture of metal alloys, specialty steel production, as well as chemical applications and catalysts. Various casting alloys are also produced at the Toronto facility. Check back soon to find out about other exciting new improvements and product lines.

We will utilize continuous improvement, involving input from all employees, to remain the preferred supplier of Primary and Secondary Aluminum Shot, Cone, Pyramid and 5-Pound Ingot, as well as other products, to our valued customers.

All raw materials are purchased from approved sources based on our customers chemistry requirements. Rochester Aluminum maintains a full analytical testing laboratory including on site optical spectrometric analysis. We also utilize outside laboratories for special requests.

We guarantee our products meet or exceed your specifications, consistently and continuously.
