Rishton Waste Paper Ltd

Founded in 1984 by Bill Braysford, the firm began operating from a small unit in the town – before Bill was joined by his wife, Joan (who are now both retired), and his two sons who now run the company, Billy and Andrew. By 1985 the business had grown sufficiently to facilitate a move to the current premises on the Riverside Industrial Estate, the site of the former Rishton Paper Mill. This consists of two warehouses, one at 8,000 sq ft and the other at 7,000 sq ft, plus yard storage capable of holding up to 1,000 tonnes of waste paper and recyclables.
