Recycle-It Resource Recovery

Recycle-It Resource Recovery was started by a brother/sister team, Tyrell Heal and Lindsay Heal, with the goal of positively impacting the world we live in and creating Zero Waste in the Peace River Regional District.

Recycle-It's parent company, Acceleration Signs Ltd., has been serving the Peace Region since 2006. Initially, the company specialized in portable sign rentals and sign sales. In 2008, a new division was launched, Acceleration Shredding, to provide on-site confidential document shredding. In 2011, the company expanded its operations again to include waste and recycling services.

Lindsay Heal has a background in the waste management industy in various capacities. She started working at a garbage disposal company in 2004 during her summer break from the University of Victoria. After graduating, she returned to Fort St. John to work fulltime for the company. In 2007, she opened a recycling processing facility which was responsible for collecting, processing and marketing recyclable materials on behalf of the PRRD. In 2011, she sold her stake in the recycling facility to focus on recycling construction & demolition waste. Lindsay is a member of SWANA with certifications in seven areas of waste management (Recycling, Landfill Operations, Construction & Demolition Recycling, Household Hazardous Waste, Collection Systems, Composting and Mun. Solid Waste Management).

Tyrell Heal has a background in the oil & gas industry. After spending 8 years working in the O&G field, he has shifted his focus to waste management. Tyrell's experience in the oil & gas industry has taught him how important it is to provide efficient, cost effective and safe products & services to our customers. His ultimate goal is to make the landfill obselete. Tyrell is also a member of SWANA with certifications in Construction & Demolition waste management.
