Recovermat LLC

Recovermat Mid-Atlantic is a Baltimore Scrap Yard  located in Baltimore County.  It is part of EMR Smith Industries, LLC, with origins dating back to 1898, which operates one of the oldest and largest scrap processors in the Mid-Atlantic region. Through our state-of-the-art separation systems, we  buy, process, and sell ferrous and non-ferrous metals by turning raw scrap into a clean and mill-ready product.

We strive to be industry leaders by keeping our facilities clean, safe, and as responsive as possible to our customers’ needs. Our customer base includes the general public, tow companies, salvage yards, construction and demolition companies, large corporations and small businesses, local, county, state, and federal government entities including military facilities.  With facilities located throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Delaware, we are strategically located to handle the many jobs our customers have throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.  We offer the cleanest yards, the most accurate scales, and the best prices in Baltimore are the surrounding areas.

Having been around since 1898, we have learned many things along our journey.  We are honored to be part of the community our facilities are located in, and are constantly looking for more ways to help make recycling easier, more rewarding, and help our neighbors.
