Ewing Bros. was founded in Las Vegas in 1949 by brothers Rex, Robert, and Jack Ewing, at a time when the city was still finding its footing. Coming out of World War II, they built the company on something simple but enduring: show up when people need help, do the job right, and treat everyone with respect.

One of those brothers, Rex Ewing Jr., was a U.S. Navy veteran, a natural builder, and a lifelong problem-solver. He was known as a hands-on leader who cared deeply about his people and his work. Those who knew him often said his favorite place was Ewing Bros. itself, not because it was a business, but because it represented service, responsibility, and pride in doing meaningful work. That mindset shaped the company from the beginning and still guides it today.
