PMI's Engineered Products is a rapidly growing part of our business. Our customers continue to take advantage of our expertise in sourcing and fabrication to save them money and guarantee a quality supply chain. PMI has the ability to provide cut parts as well as other fabricated components. Our warehouse in the Chicago area is ideally suited to manage JIT programs. Structural steel tubing products, also known as Hollow Structural Sections (HSS), are a widely used commodity tubing product used throughout the world for a wide variety of applications. Phillips Metals Inc. is an expert in providing structural squares, rectangles, and rounds to a broad and expanding customer base throughout North America.
Structural tubing is produced to ASTM A-500 specification (grades A, B, and C) in a diverse range of shapes and sizes.Paragon Tube manufactures squares from 1" through 5", rectangles from 2" x 1" through 6" x 2", and rounds from 1" through 4-1/2" OD in wall thicknesses up to .250" wall.
Structural steel tube applications include automotive, heavy truck, defense, recreational axle, trailer, construction, material handling, waste, agriculture, and energy.
