Penn-Mar Recycling

Penn-Mar Recycling has been in business for over 15 years. We are a family run business that has grown from 3 employees to 13 employees over the years. We receive all of Allegany County recyclables from drop boxes threw out the county. Thru the hard work and diligence of the Allegany County recycling coordinator, Commissioners, city Government and the economic development department, the recycling program has grown tremendously, from a processing facility of 100 square foot to almost 150,000 square foot, all under roof.Our commitment as a family is to help your business and ours grow for generations to come.

Processing

The largest product that our facility processes is paper products. Loads come and go on a daily basis into our facility. Material’s such as Cardboard, Office Paper, Newspaper, Magazine and other specialty grades of paper. We also process a large volume of plastics and metals daily.The majority of our loose product that is received into our plant is processed thru one of our two dual ram, auto tie bailers.

Metals

We not only service commercial accounts with roll off trucks and semi-trucks but also maintain a daily public buy program. We purchase metal Monday thru Friday from 8am-4pm.
