Electronic Scrap We Purchase

The Seattle Yard purchases eligible electronic scrap, including:

  • Apple MacBook logic boards

  • Other Apple computer logic boards

  • Desktop computer motherboards

  • Server and workstation motherboards

  • Laptop logic boards

  • CPUs and processors

  • RAM and computer memory

  • HDD SATA controller boards

  • HDD Non-SATA controller boards

  • Older cellphone circuit boards

  • Legacy feature-phone mainboards

  • Smartphone circuit boards

  • Telecom and networking boards

  • Industrial control boards

  • Computer power supplies

  • Computer and server components

  • Other eligible circuit boards and electronic scrap

Older cellphone boards may come from feature phones, early mobile phones, discontinued cellphone models, and other legacy communication devices. Their classification and purchasing value depend on the board type, age, completeness, attached components, condition, weight, and recoverable material content.

Apple logic boards are inspected according to the device type, model generation, condition, completeness, component density, and board category. Customers are encouraged to keep boards complete and avoid removing chips, connectors, and other original components.

Inspection and Purchasing Process

Customers may review material descriptions, reference photographs, buying conditions, and available purchasing prices on Ohata.ai before visiting the Seattle Yard.

After delivery, yard staff will:

  1. Inspect the material type and condition.

  2. Separate or confirm the applicable category.

  3. Check completeness and possible contamination.

  4. Weigh the accepted materials.

  5. Apply the current purchasing price.

  6. Confirm the final purchasing value.

Final values depend on the confirmed material category, condition, completeness, sorting quality, weight, and current market conditions.

AI-assisted image identification and online prices provide preliminary guidance only. Final classification, acceptance, weight, and purchasing value are determined after physical inspection at the Seattle Yard.
