Founded in 2003, Newport Metals supplies bulk and specialty raw materials for melting by steel mills and foundries. We also supply special castings used for corrosion control.Our main customer base is in North America but we are able to serve customers worldwide via a network of representatives and logistical partners.Newport works very closely with our customers to provide the best possible customer service all the way from the RFQ until the goods arrive at your plant. We know that quality control and timely delivery are critical to you, so we pay attention to every detail.

MAGNESIUM

Newport Metals supplies pure magnesium ingots and magnesium alloy ingots for diecasting. Most comes from China but we have alternative sourcing for United States consumers.

Newport Metals is proud to be the exclusive North American distributor of Cast Magnesium Anodes produced by Shanxi Wenxi Yinguang Magnesium Industry Co., Ltd., based in Shanxi Province, China. Wenxi Yinguang is the largest primary magnesium producer in China with two smelters producing a total of 50,000 metric tons per year of magnesium ingot. They sell pure and alloy magnesium ingots, diecastings, extrusion billets, extrusions, continuous-cast magnesium alloy sheet, and stampings made from magnesium alloy sheet.

ALUMINUM ANODES

Newport Metals can supply aluminum heater – treater anodes and marine anodes in all common sizes and configurations.

MAGNESIUM ANODES

Magnesium Anodes are used to provide cathodic protection of gas, oil and water pipes, propane tanks and other such structures. We mostly sell cast anodes but we also supply extruded anodes for use on pipelines and water heaters. We supply D, S and R-Shaped Cast Magnesium Anodes of both High Potential and Regular Potential (AZ 63) alloys in sizes ranging from 1 to 60 pounds. Condenser anodes and magnesium ribbon are also available.
