About Us
Metro Metals(Burnley)Ltd is a family run business located in Burnley Lancashire. The business was founded in 1958 by the current owners late father ,operating from a house on Colne Road in Burnley. In 1959 the business moved to two railway arches in the centre of Burnley. In 1985 a yard adjoining the arches was acquired. From then on the business expanded quickly and it soon became apparent the site business would soon out grow the site. A new site was acquired in early 2000’s.In 2006 after an investment of £2million the company moved to a new purpose built state of the art site.
