Maritime Road Recycling offer chip seal, pulverizing, milling, seal coat, fog seal, tack coat, cold in-place recycling, full depth reclamation and shouldering services. Our "Green" processes are the most economical procedures when it comes to road repairs and road stabilization. We turn damaged and weakened asphalt into a renewable resource.
Milling Process :
Cold milling, is a process by which asphalt or concrete pavement is ground up and removed to a certain depth in order to re-profile pavement surfaces. This process is used to remove deteriorated pavements for future overlays.
Pulverizing :
Pulverizing is a process that rebuilds worn out asphalt pavements by recycling the existing roadway.
Full Depth Reclamation :
Full-depth reclamation (FDR) rebuilds worn out asphalt pavement by recycling the existing roadway. The old asphalt and base materials are pulverized, mixed with liquid asphalt, and compacted to produce a strong, durable base.
Chip Seal :
The most economical pavement preservation and restoration method available. The application of an asphalt emulsion or asphalt binder on an existing pavement surface followed by layers crushed rock chips of uniform size. The two most common varieties of chip seal applications are the single and double.
