About Us
Garvin Auto Salvage was started in 2003 by John Garvin Sr. along with his wife Kathy and son John Jr. Starting with a car crusher and little else. They travelled yard to yard, dealing by appointment buying scrap, and towing, all while John Sr. still worked full-time as a truck driver.
A lot of things have changed since then, but the family values and work ethic that were present at the start, have not. We have since expanded but are fortunate enough to still employ family and close friends. We now offer our own truck scale capable of weighing loads in excess of 100,000 pounds, two scales for the buying of non-ferrous metals, a large warehouse to keep ourselves and our customers out of the weather, 24 hour towing service, and of course we offer an outdoor scale read-out so that you can see your own weight for yourself to guarantee you are getting a fair deal.
