About Us

Effective February 1st, my business partner Jeff Pierce and I took over the operations of the scrap metal recycling facility on 982 State Route 21 in Shortsville, New York. As many of you are aware, I started Becks Recycling Inc. with a few partners, back in the spring of 2008. Then Empire Recycling Inc., based in Utica, New York acquired Becks Recycling in the fall of 2011. We are thrilled to take this journey of ownership again and grow the business.

Jeff brings 30 years of waste and recycling experience with him and so we are excited to announce we will be adding a Construction and Demolition Debris Transfer Station. Over the next few months, this license/permit will allow us to accept and recycle 250 tons of C&D material daily. It will be a great added service that many of our customers have requested and are already eager to utilize.

And with my 20+ years in the scrap metal business, I am dedicated to continue providing you with the top quality service and professionalism you expect. Thankfully, all of our employees were retained to provide you a seamless transition and continue to serve you in the best possible way. We are very proud to be a locally owned and operated business here in Shortsville, New York and we are Ontario County’s only full service recycling center. We look forward to our continued relationship and appreciate all the business that we have done in the past. If you have any questions about your metal or waste recycling needs, please feel free to contact us at any time.
