Started in 1982, Deltco Plastics Inc. began operations strictly as a recycler. Initially, Deltco focused on recycling single source feedstock without offering any compounding services.Throughout the 1990s, the company’s customer base continued to expand as businesses began to realize the cost effectiveness of recycling their production waste. It was during this time that brokering services were added to the company’s business model.In 1998, the company changed ownership. Although the company had formerly recycled only homogenous waste streams, the implementation of compounding techniques began to open new opportunities for broader interactions with suppliers and customers.
​A major development in the company’s processing capacity came in 2008 with the acquisition of a separate 30,000 sq. ft. building adjacent to the existing plant. This building was converted into a processing facility devoted to toll work.In 2010, the company expanded again by adding on to the original plant. The addition provided much needed storage space and production capacity.
Presently, Deltco offers a vast array of plastic recycling and brokerage services. With over three decades of experience, the company’s production process has been equipped to meet a wide range of material needs.

Buying
Deltco purchases clean and recyclable thermoplastic products regardless of shape, density, or color. Although we primarily recycle post-industrial scrape, we do occasionally take post-consumer scrap if it is adequately cleaned and supplied in large enough quantities. Our facilities are properly equipped to handle a wide range of recyclable plastic materials. While we have the capability to directly process polypropylene and polyethylene materials, we also purchase other plastic materials for resale.We can also provide research, development, and testing services that allow our customers to know how we can serve their recycling needs.
Processing
Through years of valuable experience and process development, Deltco has created a plastic recycling process that can meet a host of needs varying from densification and shredding services to pelletizing and custom compounding. We have the capability to work with both homopolymers and copolymers to provide recycled material to meet a wide range of customer specifications.
Deltco offers a wide range of plastic products in several different forms. We provide custom solutions through widespec, recycled, regrind, and custom compound materials.
Reprocessed Material
We sell reprocessed material in densified, regrind, shredded, and pelletized form according to customer needs and specifications. We offer our reprocessed material in both homopolymer and copolymer form. Utilizing our extensive knowledge of copolymer compounding, we can meet detailed customer specifications for copolymer materials. We also offer toll work reprocessing for customers that want to directly recycle their own waste stream and reuse their material at an affordable price.
Brokered Material
Because of our extensive experience in the plastic recycling industry, we have developed relationships with numerous material suppliers. Many of these suppliers offer unique materials that go beyond the scope of our processing facility. By connecting buyers with these sellers, we provide valuable materials and help reduce the amount of plastic waste that ultimately ends up in landfills.
Deltco handles a wide range of material. We directly recycle polypropylene and polyethylene resins, creating finished material in pellet, flake, granule or film form.
Densified & Shredded Material
Along with our pelletized material, we also offer processed material in densified and shredded form at competitive industry pricing. We have the capabilities to provide blended densified and regrind batches that meet customer specifications.
Pelletized Homopolymers
Our unique supply chain allows us to offer high quality, affordable homopolymers for polypropylene and polyethylene thermoplastics. We test our recycled material throughout each stage of delivery to ensure that loads will meet strict customer specifications and reduce the possibility for rejection.
Pelletized Copolymers
With many years of experience as a plastic recycler comes the capability to utilize qualities within different materials to provide solutions for specific customer material needs. Our compounding technicians will work with our customers to provide low cost material alternatives.
