About Us

Our family owned and operated business has grown from a small parts yard to one of New England’s largest complete recycling facilities. Our business handles in excess of 25,000 autos, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks annually.

Founded in 1949 by the late Richard A. Chuckran, Chuckran Auto Parts, Inc. is currently operated by second and third generation family members: son Alan Chuckran and grandson Andrew Chuckran. The business has grown from a small parts yard to one of New England’s largest complete recycling facilities. Our business handles in excess of 25,000 autos, light trucks, and heavy duty trucks annually. Our truck fleet consists of five four-car carriers, twelve two-car carriers, two wreckers, three roll-off trucks, and one medium-duty wrecker enabling us to provide delivery services for our used parts sold, roll-off container services, as well as the ability to haul one-hundred to one-hundred and fifty cars into our facility from the states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island daily. Our business has proudly served the New England area for over 60 years and we look forward to continuing this service for many years to come.

Container Services

We provide container services to body shops, automobile dealerships, steel production facilities, and other similar entities for the purpose of picking up ferrous or nonferrous metals. Various container sizes are available. We have an on-site scale for turning old vehicles or late model wrecks into cash. We also purchase numerous commodities and provide container services.We sell quality pre-owned late model autos & trucks.
