We are a full-service junk removal company located in Oakland, California, servicing Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville, San Leandro, and other nearby Bay Area communities. The business was started in 2001, by East Bay native and longtime Oakland resident Kevin Torrey. Kevin's original name for the company was "Haulin' Oates", but rather than saddle the fledgling operation with potential brand confusion and a dated music reference , he eventually decided on "American Hauling". But make no mistake: we're local to the core. We are your neighborhood independent junk removal professionals, here to help you get rid of unwanted stuff.
