Metso to supply key minerals processing technologies for a copper project in Asia Pacific

Metso has been selected to supply process equipment for a copper project in Asia Pacific, bringing proven copper processing technologies to a key emerging project. The total value of the order exceeds EUR 30 million, the majority of which has been booked in the Minerals segment’s 2026 second-quarter orders received, with approximately EUR 6 million in the third quarter. 

The scope of delivery includes grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration and material handling solutions, covering key stages of the process plant. The packages include Metso’s Premier^™ semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill and ball mill, both with mill linings and spares, TankCell^® flotation cells, Metso High Rate Thickeners (HRT), Larox^® filters, and apron feeders. The delivery also incorporates Metso’s digital solutions, including MillSense, RockSense and FrothSense+^™ for advanced process control and optimization.
