Eva NYC and TerraCycle Expand Partnership to Recycle All Brands of Used Hair Care Tools

TRENTON, N.J, December 13, 2022 - Eva NYC, a sustainable, vegan, cruelty-free line of innovative, affordable hair care and salon quality styling tools, is expanding its partnership with international recycling leader TerraCycle^® to recycle all brands of electronic hair tools and appliances, including hair dryers, curling irons, and styling irons. Through the Eva NYC Hair Tools Recycling Program, the hair care leader is providing consumers and professionals with a free, sustainable solution for well-loved hair tools, no matter the brand or the condition.

Participation in the program is easy—individuals can simply sign up on the Eva NYC Hair Tools Recycling Program page at www.terracycle.com/en-US/brigades/eva-nyc and mail in any broken or non-donatable hair tool or appliance using a prepaid shipping label. Once collected, the packaging is cleaned and melted into hard plastic that can be remolded to make new recycled products. Every shipment of packaging sent to TerraCycle also earns individuals TerraCycle Recycling Rewards that can be used for charitable gifts or converted to cash and donated to a non-profit, school or charitable organization of their choice.

The Eva NYC Hair Tools Recycling Program is just one step in Eva NYC’s mission to make the beauty industry more sustainable. The brand transitioned to curbside recyclable bottles in 2021 and launched recycling programs with TerraCycle to address hard-to-recycle plastic pumps and aerosols.
