SEATTLE (Waste 360): Brunswick County, N.C., is planning to construct a new transfer station just south of its existing transfer station, which is nearing its operational capacity. The county’s new transfer station will be built to help accommodate growing waste streams at its landfill, Port City Daily reports.
According to the report, the county’s waste consultant will put the project out to bid in June 2020, with construction expected to begin in March 2021.
