Courage, entrepreneurship, a high level of personal commitment and the willingness to constantly develop further characterize the history of Container-Service Schöpfel. With a truck and an office in the future children's room, Peter Schöpfel and his wife Karin laid the foundation stone for a company that today has more than 90 employees

Just one year after the company was founded in Eichstätt, the first “telephone” branch was opened in Ingolstadt and, in 1980, another in Neuburg an der Donau. Careful observation of the market and enthusiasm for innovation led the young company to expand its range in the same year: With the purchase of the first of three high-pressure flushing vehicles, the way to the sewer cleaning service area was paved. Today, 30 municipalities have their sewer networks flushed by the experts from Schöpfel GmbH, and customers also include businesses and private individuals.

In the following years, the Schöpfel Group opened up further industry-related service areas. In 1984, Peter Schöpfel set up the first rental park for construction machinery in the 10 region on the B 13 in Ingolstadt-Friedrichshofen. In 1991, Schöpfel GmbH in Neuburg took over the waste paper plant from Arold and expanded it into a modern recycling plant. As of 2002, operations were relocated to their own company premises in the Grünau industrial area. Today the Schöpfel company and its partners dispose of the material from the recycling centers in the Eichstätt district and are also responsible for the disposal of wood and organic waste in the Neuburg district. In 1996 Peter Schöpfel acquired a quarry in the Schernfeld-Harthof quarry area for the extraction of Solnhofer slabs.

THE SECOND GENERATION

The daughters Nadja and Natascha Schöpfel have been running the family business together with their father since 2008.

The twins worked in the company during the school holidays from an early age. By studying business administration in Regensburg, which they graduated with a degree in business administration in 2004, they prepared to follow in their father's footsteps. During this time both of them also acquired their truck driver's license. They then started working in their parents' business and went through all areas.

The company headquarters in Eichstätt-Wegscheid, built in 2017, was planned by Natascha and Nadja Schöpfel.
