In 1902, Mrs. Katharina Scheef laid the foundation stone for our family business in Ravensburg as a scrap material collector. Since then we have been collecting and processing waste. The increasing demands on environmental protection and the constantly changing political, legal and economic framework conditions are a constant challenge for us. At our location in Ravensburg we employ more than 120 people who take on these tasks with professional competence, reliability and a friendly demeanor.

Our company is recognized as a waste management company and our quality management system is certified according to DIN ISO 9001. The responsible handling of our environment and the satisfaction of our customers are important to us and determine our actions. We are prepared for the future, the journey is our goal.

Waste handling and processing

We have been operating a sorting system for construction site and commercial waste in Ravensburg since 1989 (approx. 20,000 tons per year). Even in the age of incineration plants, we stuck to the idea of ​​sorting and continuously developed our plant. In the meantime, our sorting system has been expanded to include an RDF processing and a large baling press for waste paper and plastics. The sorted out recyclables scrap, metal, cables and waste wood are further processed within the own group of companies. Waste paper, plastics, RDF and the mineral fractions are sold to the raw materials trade in marketable qualities. Furthermore, large investments were made in fire protection and dust reduction. 

Scrap and metal yard

Around 35,000 tons of ferrous scrap and 7,000 tons of non-ferrous metal are sorted, processed and recycled on our premises every year. Trained staff, modern chargers, excavator shears and our own siding with a loading ramp ensure that the materials are processed and handled efficiently. Light scrap, body shells and cable scrap are processed and marketed in the company's own group of companies. 

With the 7,200 m² roofing of the company premises, not only are the legal requirements for environmental protection exceeded, our valuable waste is also stored dry and properly. 

Container service

The Bausch Container Service has existed since 1968 and offers industry, commerce, municipalities and private households reliable and inexpensive waste disposal. From the compact steel collection box to the large roll-off press, we have the right transport system for a wide variety of disposal tasks. 
As a waste disposal service provider, we not only take care of the transport for our customers, but also offer advice and the search for suitable and cost-effective disposal routes, including complete handling, from proof of disposal through transport logistics to the waste balance.
