Harvest Solar is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brouillardbuilt Inc, a leader in designing and building Solar, energy efficient homes since 1977. Having access to the experience and building capabilities of Brouillardbuilt Inc. allows us to provide installations that are as strong, reliable and beautiful for the life of the systems.

In 1980 Steven Brouillard (owner of Brouillardbuilt Inc.) began creating energy efficient homes that were designed in tune with the suns’ rotation around the earth, at the time many thought this was crazy.  While these homes required a little more money and effort to design and build, he believed it was important to build this way to naturally save energy and provide a stable living environment.  When many began building for much less, the company stuck to its values and even improved their homes to become more energy efficient.  They used insulation packages that were much higher than code required and took advantage of the sun to heat and cool the home.

Stevens’ ideas seemed drastic at the time but he had no doubt that these ideas were the future.  Today these homes are not only environmentally friendly, they have been saving homeowners money in energy costs for decades now and are proof of the companies beliefs throughout the 35 plus years in business.  Many of these homes have pioneered the products and techniques of the green building movement.
