Quantum ionics, Inc. or “Qi” is an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) – a technology solutions company – which designs proprietary water, wastewater and environmental solutions utilizing advanced technological platforms.

WATER

Quantum-ionics, Inc or "Qi" was established in 2004, and was one of the early players representing ElectroCoagulation as an emerging technology. In the process, it actively pursued innovative and complementary technologies that leant distinct synergies for specific vertical-market applications and in so doing, assumed its role as an OEM with proprietary Hybrid Systems called "VIA™ Systems"

Qi utilizes ElectroCoagulation as a key component for many of its water solutions and is the licensed OEM as well as a direct commercial sales representative for Powell Waters Systems, Inc., the worldwide recognized leader in ElectroCoagulation (EC) technology.

Since these "VIA ™ Systems" combine commercialized yet advanced and emerging technologies along with in-house proprietary technology, we typically provide them on a Design Build Own and Operate (DBOO) model under fixed-term treatment contracts. Whether our client’s needs are to pre-treat, upgrade, dispose of or recycle effluents, these turnkey solutions are made available at a predictable, set per gallon or m3 basis. Most of these installations constitute 'zero discharge systems' where the wastewater will be recycled through to be reused as process waters for each plant's manufacturing activities. 

In outsourcing the wastewater function, our client gains the latest advancements in wastewater treatment, saving on their operating expenses while increasing treatment quality, enhancing their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) profile and hedging on unpredictable future water and/or regulatory costs - all without capital outlay or tying up existing lines of credit.

In this manner, Qi effectively makes available the efficiencies gained through our proprietary platforms, delivering sustainable solutions to the client and region, enabling access to advanced solutions with the proper assurances against perceived risks.

SOIL

Qi has strategically partnered with a cutting-edge suite of agricultural soil amendments and technologies under the trade name Microsoil®. Waterways around the world are suffering or dying a slow death from substantial over-burden of chemical fertilizers. It is understood that the continual use of chemical nitrogen is acidifying the soil as well and in doing so, slowly killing it. Until this point farmers haven’t had much of a choice.
