ABC Supply Inc., was founded in 1973 by Roger Prentice. Roger was a salesman for both Ducommun Metals Co., and Port Plastics, Inc. and started selling fasteners out of his garage while continuing his sales position. His fastener business continued to grow and in October 1973 he moved the operation to a warehouse at 29th and J Street in Sacramento. Roger along with his wife, Constance Prentice, continued his fastener business and began selling Ducommun Metals on a consignment basis, which proved to be beneficial to both businesses. ABC Supply, Inc., also established a Sacramento branch for Port Plastics at that time.

In 1987, ABC Supply Inc., moved to their current location at 27th and R Street in Sacramento. ABC Supply, Inc., metals division has grown over the past 40 years and now carried Aluminum, Stainless, Steel, Brass, Bronze, Copper, and Fasteners.

Rogers passed away in 1992 and in greatly missed today. The business continues to grow under the leadership of Constance and their son Greg Prentice. In 2007 Constance Prentice passed away and ABC Supply, Inc. now operated under the ownership of Gregory Prentice whom has been with ABC Supply, Inc. since the beginning.

The knowledge shared by Roger and Constance Prentice has allowed ABC Supply, Inc., to continue to grow their inventory, offer quality products and excellent customer service.

At ABC Supply Inc., we offer delivery services for a nominal fee within a 60 mile radius of Sacramento with UPS or truckline shipping available daily. Counter Sales and will call available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm (closed 12-1 for lunch).
