The eyes of the world were on Britain in June 2012 when Her Majesty The Queen celebrated 60 years on the throne. Only one other monarch has reached this momentous milestone, her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, making it one of the most significant events in the history of the monarchy. Minted in sterling silver to the highest Proof quality and with a maximum mintage of 75,000 pieces, the UK silver coin features two new portraits of The Queen created especially for the Diamond Jubilee.
