Columbia Specialty Metals supplies high-purity aluminum products including aluminum shot (aka Mini-P, Granny-P, aluminum pellets or granulated aluminum) and aluminum ingot in a variety of sizes. We offer 99.5% to 99.99% pure primary aluminum. Our products are used worldwide by valued customers in industries including Aviation and Chemical Manufacturing. Columbia Specialty Metals' modern equipment allows us to provide our customers with the highest purity aluminum available at unmatched value. CSM’s facility has been optimally designed to produce the finest aluminum shot, exhibiting consistent size, shape and chemistry. (99.9% and 99.99% pure) This in turn, enables our customers to offer their highest quality product. We met our customer’s growing needs in 2011 with the addition of a second reverb furnace and automated storage system. The update increased our production capacity by 50%.

CSM’s quality program is based on the ISO 9001 format system using Standard Operating Procedures. These practices ensure that the highest quality Aluminum shot, of consistent size, shape and chemistry is provided to all of our customers. We sample our Aluminum shot every 6,000 to 8,000 pounds to verify our chemical analysis. Our optical emissions spectrometer can test up to 26 different elements. The Certificate of Analysis shows all customer purchase order specifications and SPC run charts show the key chemical elements for current and prior shipments.
