All scrap received at Alpha will always be destroyed by bailing, shredding, or sheared. All hard drives are destroyed and you have our guarantee that absolutely no parts will be sold for re-use or refurbishing. A certificate of destruction is issued with each pick-up or drop-off.Paper and Plastic is a good way to add on some value to your pick-ups. Whats good about most products it they are recyclable. Since you probably get charged to dispose your garbage anyway, it would be worth while to save any type of paper or plastic products and separate them accordingly.

Illinois has passed the Public Act 97-0287 – Electronic Products Recycling & Reuse Act that took effect 2012. Meaning absolutely no electronics should be left outside for the trash because of the harm that it can cause to the world. Alpha Metals Corp has found the safest way to recycle these electronic products without hurting the environment and can provide all certifications that all e-scrap material was properly discarded.
