19th November, 2018: North American Scrap Metal Prices Rose Marginally on Index
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were up slightly by $0.02 per Lb over the previous day.
TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American Copper scrap prices witnessed marginal uptick on ScrapMonster Price Index as on November 19th, Monday. Brass and Bronze scrap prices edged higher marginally on Index. Meantime, Steel and Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change on Index. Also, Aluminum scrap prices remained flat over the day.
Copper Scrap Prices
The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing increased by $0.05 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright edged higher by $0.05 per Lb.
The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery were up slightly by $0.02 per Lb over the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices too were up by $0.01 per Lb. #3 Copper-Light copper prices inched higher by $0.05 per Lb.
Copper Radiator scrap prices rose by $0.01 per Lb.
The prices of Cu/Al Radiator Ends and Copper Transformer scrap recorded no change on Index.
Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices were unchanged.
Meanwhile, the prices of Cu Yokes too were flat from the previous day prices on November 19th, 2018.
Heater Cores and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were up by $0.01 per Lb.
Romex Wire prices too rose by $0.01 per Lb on Index.
The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Starters, Sealed units and Xmas Lights witnessed no change on Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
1100 Scrap prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 3003 Scrap too were steady on Index. The prices of 356 Aluminum Wheels and 6063 Extrusions/Fe too were unchanged.
The prices of 6063 Extrusions held steady over the day.
Meantime, prices of 5052 Scrap and 6061 Extrusions remained flat when compared with the previous day.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe remained flat. Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Radiators/Fe prices held steady. Aluminum Transformers and Breakage 50% Recovery prices remained unchanged on November 19th, 2018.
Chrome Wheels and remained flat on Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices held steady over the previous day.
Litho Sheets and MLC Clips witnessed no change from previous day’s levels.
Mixed Aluminum Turnings prices too remained unchanged.
The prices of Old Cast and UBC saw no change over the previous day.
Old Sheet, Painted Siding and Zorba 90% NF prices too held steady.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 Bundle prices remained flat.
The prices of #1 Busheling and #1 HMS too reported no change on 19th November, 2018.
HMS 80/20 prices held steady when compared with the previous day.
Sheet Metal, Shredded Auto Scrap and Structural Steel also saw no change in prices when compared with the previous day.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS and 301 SS prices reported no change.
304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.
304 SS Turning witnessed no variation in prices on 19th November, 2018.
309 SS and 310 SS prices saw no change in price on a daily basis.
330 SS prices were flat.
Meantime, 316 SS Solid prices witnessed no variation on Index.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in the North American region increased marginally on Index.
70/30 Brass Scrap, 80/20 Brass Scrap, 85/15 Brass Scrap prices rose by $0.01 per Lb each on Monday, November 19th, 2018.
Brass Radiator scrap and Brass Radiator /Fe prices remained unchanged.
Brass Radiator Ends prices maintained the previous day price levels.
Red Brass, Red Borings and Yellow Brass prices increased by $0.01 per Lb each on Index.
