February 4, 2025: Scrap Gold Prices Up, Platinum and Silver Dipped on the Index

In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $7.98 per Oz.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked and non-hallmarked edged higher marginally as of Tuesday, February 4, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Platinum and Silver scrap fell over the day.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $7.98 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also increased by $10.22 per Oz and $12.48 per Oz respectively. 9-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $5.11 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $8.02 per Oz on the Index. Silver scrap prices declined marginally by $0.26 per Lb.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $5.10 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap recorded an increase of $9.67 and $11.80 per Oz respectively.9-carat gold scrap also increased by $4.83 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap edged lower by $8.02 per Oz. Silver scrap prices edged lower by $0.23 per Lb over the previous day.
