October 17, 2024: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum Prices Went Higher on the Index

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 14.06 per Oz on the Index.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold prices – both hallmarked and non- hallmarked witnessed increase as of Thursday, October 17, 2024 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices of scrap silver and platinum also climbed higher on the Index.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 14.87 per Oz. The prices of 18-carat gold edged higher by $ 19.06 per Lb. The 22-carat gold scrap prices recorded an increase of $ 23.28 per Oz. 9-carat gold scrap also edged higher by $ 9.53 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a jump of $ 9.48 per Oz to reach $ 723.29 per Oz. Silver scrap prices went higher by $ 0.52 per Oz.
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 14.06 per Oz on the Index. The prices of 18-carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went up by $ 18.03 per Oz and $ 22.02 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 9.02 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw an increase of $ 9.48 per Oz. In the meantime, silver scrap prices edged higher by $0.46 over the previous day.
