DS Smith Redefined Packaging Five Times in 2020
DS Smith, in partnership with TemperPack, developed a fully recyclable thermal insulation that is made entirely from plant-based components and paper.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Leading packaging manufacturer DS Smith redefined packaging five times during the previous year, in order to meet changing consumer needs and market requirements.
The company partnered with Touchguard in developing a new range of bacteria and virus-safeguarded sustainable cardboard packaging. The new patented technology ensures that replication of Covid-19 viruses are prevented, thereby mitigating the risks involved in person-to-transfer of packages.
DS Smith, in partnership with TemperPack, developed a fully recyclable thermal insulation that is made entirely from plant-based components and paper. The ClimaCell liner has proved to be a perfect solution for packaging wide range of goods that need temperature control. In addition, the company had launched an exclusive multi-sensory application to track real time data, called ParceLive, thereby helping the company to measure and optimize delivery of goods.
