25th May, 2017: Chinese copper scrap prices rose further on Index

The Chinese copper scrap prices increased marginally on Thursday, May 25th.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices ended marginally higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Thursday, May 25th.

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices witnessed marginal increase of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery remained unchanged when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator and Heater Cores prices held steady over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices saw no change on Thursday, May 25th.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
