26th Aug, 2016: Chinese copper scrap prices witness marginal jump
The Chinese copper scrap prices increased marginally on Friday, August 26th.
BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices ended marginally higher on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Friday, August 24th.
The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 100 per MT each.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 100 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery held steady when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Friday, August 26th.
