MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): Talamore Mining has obtained a major road permit for its Coffee gold project in Yukon, Canada. The approval removes a significant infrastructure obstacle as the company prepares for a construction decision in early 2027.
Road Permit Advances Access to Coffee Project
The permit covers roughly 29 km of new road that will connect existing portions of the route from Dawson City. Around 180 km of the planned 214-km all-season road is already in place.
The road is estimated to require C$71.3 million in investment.
Feasibility Study and Remaining Permits Move Forward
The company is now concentrating on completing a feasibility study and obtaining two remaining major approvals: a quartz mining licence and a Type A water licence. Public consultation on the water permit is scheduled to end September 15.
A feasibility study by G Mining Services is expected during the first quarter.
Talamore has completed 20,000 metres of infill drilling at the Supremo Extension, targeting additional higher-grade resources for possible inclusion in the study.
Coffee Project Targets 217,000 Ounces a Year Over Mine Life
The Coffee gold project, one of Canada's largest undeveloped primary gold projects, is planned as an open-pit, heap-leach gold operation.
The preliminary study projects average annual production of 249,000 ounces during its first five full years and 217,000 ounces over a 13-year mine life.
The project hosts 2.96 million ounces of measured and indicated gold resources, with another 800,000 ounces in inferred resources.
