SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Pratt Industries, the fifth-largest U.S. corrugated packaging company, announced a major investment towards expanding its manufacturing facility in Rockwall, Texas. The expansion project aims to boost the facility’s production capacity, thus supporting future growth.

According to the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation, the company will add approximately 346,000 square feet to its existing facility. This will bring the total building size of the facility to roughly 736,000 square feet. The expansion involves a capital investment of $90 million and is expected to create nearly 100 new jobs at the Rockwall Technology Park campus.

The construction and equipment installation will be completed in phases. Meanwhile, full operations are expected to commence after the installation of a new corrugator line and related facility upgrades.
