Precious Metal Scrap Prices: Weekly Market Report (October 17-23, 2025)
In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 102.47 per Oz.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The North American scrap gold, silver and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked dropped during the previous week (October 17 to 23, 2025) on the ScrapMonster Price Index. The prices reversed for the first time after reporting steady gains for several weeks in a row.
In the Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices registered decline, falling by $108.36 per Oz during the week.
The prices of 18-carat and 22-carat gold scrap also recorded notable declines by $ 138.92 per Oz and $ 169.67 per Lb respectively. The chart below depicts the weekly price action in 18-carat gold scrap:
9-carat gold scrap prices decreased by $ 4.50% week-on-week. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a notable decline of $ 90.41 per Oz to reach $ 1,130.14 per Oz. Silver scrap prices recorded a decline of 9.91% over the week.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14-carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 102.47 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went down by $ 131.37 and $ 160.44 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also slumped by $ 65.68 per Oz.
