West Fraser Timber Announced Q2 2025 Results

West Fraser reported Lumber segment adjusted EBITDA of $15 million.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. announced second quarter 2025 results.

Sales for the corporation in the second quarter of 2025 were $1.532 billion, up from $1.459 billion in the first quarter. In the first quarter of 2025, earnings were $42 million, or $0.46 per diluted share; in the second quarter, earnings were $24 million, or $0.38 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA for the second quarter of 2025 was $84 million, down from $195 million in the first quarter.

West Fraser reported $15 million in adjusted EBITDA for the Lumber business. Adjusted EBITDA for the North American Engineered Wood Products division was $68 million. The adjusted EBITDA for the Pulp & Paper Segment was $1 million. Additionally, according to a business news release, its Europe Engineered Wood Products sector generated adjusted EBITDA of $2 million.

In the second quarter of this year, $78 million was spent on capital projects.

According to the company's assessment, a number of significant factors that have been encouraging in recent years are anticipated to sustain the medium- and longer-term demand for new house development in North America. In the near future, the difficult industrial demand in Europe and the UK is probably going to continue.
