Novelis Reported Q4 and Full Fiscal Year 2025 Results
For the full fiscal year 2025, Novelis, Inc. reported net income attributable to its shareholders of $683 million.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Novelis, Inc. reported fourth quarter and full fiscal year 2025 results.
A news release from the corporation stated that its $294 million net income attributable to shareholders was a strong 77% increase over the previous quarter. With exceptional items excluded, net income attributable to shareholders was $262 million, a 46% increase over the prior year. The adjusted EBITDA per tonne shipped decreased 9% year over year to $494, while the adjusted EBITDA of $473 million down 8% year over year. Shipments of rolled products increased by just 1% to 957 kilotonnes.
Novelis, Inc. reported $683 million in net income attributable to shareholders for the entire fiscal year 2025. With exceptional items excluded, the net income was $764 million. Adjusted EBITDA per tonne supplied was $480, and adjusted EBITDA was $1.8 billion. In fiscal year 2025, 3,757 kilotonnes of rolled products were shipped.
Strong shipments in the fourth quarter and the entire fiscal year, driven by strong demand for beverage packaging, continued to support the core strength of Novelis Inc., according to Steve Fisher, president and CEO. He also commended the team as a whole for its flexibility and fortitude in dealing with the challenges posed by rising aluminum scrap costs.
