ArcelorMittal Construction Completed Acquisition of Leading Panels Business
The acquisition is anticipated to add considerable strategic value to its business, said news release by ArcelorMittal Construction.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): ArcelorMittal Construction announced major expansion of its panels business product portfolio by way of key acquisitions.
The company press release noted that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Italpannelli SRL, Italy and Italpannelli Iberica, Spain. This is the second acquisition of Italpannelli businesses by the company. Earlier in March 2023, ArcelorMittal had purchased assets of Italpannelli Germany.

Italpannelli runs two production plants across Europe- one in Zaragoza, Spain and the other located in Abruzzo, Italy. Together, these two facilities operate as many as seven production lines with a production capacity of approximately 13 million cubic metres of sandwich panels per year, providing employment to nearly 260 people. Apart from serving customers in the central and Eastern European region, the facilities also provides service in French, German, Italian and Spanish markets.
The acquisition is anticipated to add considerable strategic value to its business, said news release by ArcelorMittal Construction. It will significantly increase the capabilities of the company in panel business, provide access to new geographies and enrich its overall product portfolio.
