TES Battery Recycling Plant Won UN Sustainability Award
The award recognizes businesses for developing innovative solution that embodies the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): TES- the leading sustainable technology lifecycle solutions provider was announced winner of the United Nations Global Compact’s Apex Corporate Sustainability Awards. TES’ battery recycling facility in Singapore won the award in “Sustainable Solutions-SME” category, after stiff competition with several other leading companies.
The award recognizes businesses for developing innovative solution that embodies the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. The winners are selected by a panel comprising esteemed individuals, including representatives from Enterprise Singapore, Frost & Sullivan, National University Singapore, Singapore Business Federation, and Temasek Foundation.

The award was in recognition of TES’s innovative proprietary mechanical and hydrometallurgical battery treatment process that promises to deliver high recovery rate and close the loop on battery metals.
