ITAD Company Expanded Global Network of Circular Centers

The new facility is aimed at boosting the redeployment, reuse and recyclability of retired IT equipment and data center material, said the company press release.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Illinois-headquartered information technology asset disposition (ITAD) provider, Sims Lifecycle Services, announced its decision to expand its operations to Ireland by opening a new circular center. The new facility is aimed at boosting the redeployment, reuse and recyclability of retired IT equipment and data center material, said the company press release.

Located in one of Europe’s fastest-growing data center hubs, the new facility is expected to meet the needs of the company’s existing global cloud service providers and corporate clients in the region. SLS Ireland facility at Kilbeggan, along with the recently opened circular center in Mexico, is expected to deliver significant expansion to the company’s world class global footprint.

The addition of the new facility is considered part of company’s multi-year strategic growth plan in accordance with its global commitment to focus on recycling the cloud. It must be noted that the company already has circular centers across North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Commenting on the expansion, Sean Magann, chief commercial officer, SLS said that the company is pleased to add another circular center to its network of owned and operated sites. The critical location in close proximity to clients will help in delivering prompt and faster service than before, he added.
