Pratt Industries Announced Huge Expansion at Albany Plant
The latest expansion will add approximately 100,000 square feet to the already existing facility.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Pratt Industries will make a capital investment of around $18 million at its Albany corrugated box converting facility, which is expected to create nearly 30 new jobs. The announcement to this effect was made by the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission (ADEDC).
Making the announcement, Jana Dyke, President and CEO, ADEDC said that it is proud to have Pratt as a corporate citizen in the community since 1983. The continued investment by the company reaffirms Albany-Dougherty County as an ideal location for manufacturing and logistics industries, he added.

The latest expansion will add approximately 100,000 square feet to the already existing facility. In addition to installation of new machinery, the expansion project also comprises new scrap recycling system and waste water system. It will also add additional warehouse space at the facility. The proposed expansion project is expected to be completed by January next year.
Drew Pennington, Plant Manager, Pratt’s Albany plant noted that the company is excited to continue and strengthen its relationship with the local community, after 38 years of operation. The plant is one among the company’s 40 facilities throughout the U.S. and Mexico, he noted.
