Nucor Declares Acquisition of Top Insulated Metal Panels Manufacturer
The acquisition fits well with Nucor’s strategy towards profitable growth of its value-added products portfolio.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nucor Corporation announced its decision to acquire TrueCore, LLC.- a leading insulated metal panel producer having facility in Laurens, South Carolina. All the 26 employees of TrueCore will now become part of Nucor Buildings Group, the company press release said.
The acquisition fits well with Nucor’s strategy towards profitable growth of its value-added products portfolio. Further, it provides great synergies with Nucor Buildings Group. Insulated panels are vital components of metal buildings.

He welcomed the exceptional TrueCore team to the Nucor Buildings Group.
Meantime, Conor Lowery, Director of Operations for TrueCore stated that the acquisition by Nucor will help in scaling the company faster to meet the growing customer demands. The company is planning to add additional products to its portfolio including insulated roof panels and a line of fire-rated panels. TrueCore is excited about its future as part of Nucor, he added.
